Oh, Daft Punk *swoon* one of the most successful creators of electronic house music ever to grace the earth with sound. I was 13 years old and a little late getting into the whole CD craze of the 90's. I can still remember standing in the store blindly picking up cd's,wanting to get something completely different from anything I had in my little tape collection...in one hand I held, Blur’s Best Of cd that had just came out that year and in the other, Daft Punk's earlyer album, Homework. The two bands drasticly changed my musical taste, soon after and shortly before there was the punk rock, then the more obscure and heavily influenced by jazz jam bands, then the indie rock and more current things striked my interests, and now my taste has changed again and i find my self wanting to hear more techno, drum and bass, house, and industrial type esque synthpopy type things... daft punk was always a constant for me in my life and will always be loved for being the first cd i ever bought...all I sadly owe it to well designed album covers in blur's case and appealing band names in Daft Punk's case. Daft Punk was also the most amazing live show that anybody has ever witnessed at Coachella in all of history. I can only hope to see them live right here in calgary...or better yet in my home land, Holland. Now that i'm done being dramaticly nostalgic by writting my life story as a comment on your personal blog, i must thank you for posting all the great music that you do! Keep it up.
